New London
Located midway between Boston, Massachusetts and New York City and situated on the shores of both the Thames River and Long Island Sound the City of New London is a wonderful community in which to live, visit and do business.Our historic waterfront City is best known as the home of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Americas Tall Ship the Barque Eagle. New London is also known as an historic whaling port, a center of higher learning, a multi modal transportation center and an arts and cultural center.

New London's historic waterfront district is the Center of Connecticut's hottest tourist area. Festivals and events attract hundreds of thousands of visitors, from the Hygienic Art Show in January, to Celebrate Regatta in June, Sailfest in July, Waterfront Park Arts Festival in August, Boats Books & Brushes in September, and A Celebration of Lights & Song by the Sea in December. Waterfront Park offers Saturday Market, fishing, small boat launch, moorings for transient boaters, tour boat rides, and over 30 cruise ship visits each year.
